Skutt Genuine Peephole Plug

Skutt Genuine Peephole Plug is to plug up the holes in the sides of your kiln, the holes are there to peep into. Be Careful!

Q?  How do i use a peephole plug?

1. When the kiln is heating up to 600 F leave them out so the gasses and water can get out.
   
2. Plug up the holes leaving the top one out for ventilation.
   
3. If you walk by the kiln and it is over 1800 feel free to plug up the top hole.
   
4. When the kiln cools to say 500 F start taking the plus out to make the kiln cool slower. (wear a glove-HOT)
   
5. I you have a vent system on your kiln leave all the holes plugged all the time. (except 4)
